Recently I re-shaped an old rusty axe head, to make it more carving style, for the son of a lady I know from the outdoor scene. No pics of video of how I did that, there are enough of those in my previous blogs.
– Axe head, cleaned up, re-shaped, and sharpened.
– Handle, ash, sanded, lightly burned, sanded, oiled.
– Sheath, pigskin leather, saturated in hot bee wax.
