For my wood carving projects I needed a wooden mallet, so I made a simple one, with a ash handle, a beech head, and oak dowels to strengthen it. The wedge is also from oak.

To make nice pictures of outdoor equipment and my axe collection, I made this photo box. I did not go for the usual cardboard box setup, but for something more sturdy as some of the equipment is heavy.
